The solution: Roffey Park worked with QinetiQ to develop a pilot programme with eight participants. It consisted of one three day module and one two day module. The first module comprised what it means to be a strategic leader; engaging and energising staff; 360 degree feedback and one-to-one feedback. A senior QinetiQ executive also gave a presentation on what leadership means in the context of the company. The second module used experiential workshops to explore creating purpose; vision and direction; and aligning business with social responsibility. It also introduced an external business leader to give their personal perspective on leadership.
